Singing bowlThis instrument is technically classified as a friction idiophone. It is also sub-classified as a bell. The effect of this instrument is a sound which can spread evenly through the entire surrounding atmosphere, sometimes making the source ambiguous to localize using only the ears.

 

Singing bowl is a common Tibetan instrument used in the time of their enriched meditations. It is a technology more than an instrument to support human mind to calm down without losing its effective working power. It is popularly used today in various forms of healing & meditation.
